Thanksgiving causing retail diesel prices to increase at the pump. Nationally, diesel rose only one cent from $2.39 to $2.40. In Oregon and Washington diesel rose 3 cents from $2.69 to $2.72 and from $2.80 to 2.83, respectively. Although retail gasoline stayed the same in Washington and Oregon, nationally it dropped a cent. However, the reverse happened in the wholesale market. Wholesale gasoline rose 2 cents from $1.32 to $1.34. But Diesel shot down by 11 cents from $1.71 to $1.60 and following right behind the decline, biodiesel dropped 10 cents from $1.64 to $1.53.
