THIS WEEK'S WHOLESALE AND RETAIL PRICES

2/19/2021 - 2/25/2021 Weeks Average

Prices are nearing pre-COVID times. In the past week, fuel prices saw an exponential rise, due to the crude oil prices surging. The biggest jump in prices, over 14 cents, was in wholesale gasoline from $1.78 to $1.92. Wholesale diesel rose 12 cents from $1.83 to $1.95. Biodiesel also increasing 12 cents from $1.72 to $1.84.

As vaccinations are being rolled out more and more travel is expected to increase heavily, especially with summer fast approaching. Nationally retail gas prices rose over 11 cents from $2.53 to $2.64. Diesel increased 8 cents from $2.78 to $2.86. Oregon’s retail gasoline price rose over 9 cents from $2.78 to $2.87. Although, Oregon’s diesel jumped  10 cents from $2.84 to $2.94. Washington is now over $3 a gallon in both gasoline and diesel. The gasoline week average increased 7 cents from $2.92 to $2.99. Washington’s diesel weekly average now at $3.03 up 8 cents from $2.95.
