Month End for June

As Covid-19 cases increase in the U.S. we are in yet again, a state of confusion regarding the market. Although, as the past trends suggested fuel prices have continuously gone up, with the reintroduction to some normalcy. The prices at the pumps give little insight as to what is actually occurring within underlying fuel market. From May to our end of June report, pricing at the pumps have gone up less than 2 cents on average within the Oregon and Washington markets. With these minute changes in residential fuel, what has occurred on the commercial side?

The biggest price jump has occurred with gasoline, the wholesale rack low jumping in price 39 cents from $1.03 to $1.49, while the wholesale rack average had an increase of 40 cents from $1.09 to $1.49.
